An entrepreneur makes things happen

The definition of an entrepreneur according to the Merriam-Webster dictionary is “one who organizes, manages, and assumes the risks of a business or enterprise”. But they are also someone that makes things happen. An entrepreneur usually takes an idea and makes something out of it. A dreamer has an idea but never does anything about it. An inventor is just an inventor unless they are sharing their inventions with the world. An employee follows directions. An entrepreneur has a vision and the ability to make it happen.

Successful Entrepreneurs

Successful entrepreneurs usually have these things in common; a strong work ethic, the ability to have a long term vision and a short term focus, setting goals and taking actions towards each goal.  At Our Global Home Business, we are the top earners of the ASEA MLM. We try to share these tips and information so that we are working with a team of successful entrepreneurs.

We have found that entrepreneurs are attracted to MLM (multi-level marketing, network marketing, direct sales) businesses because they are quite inexpensive, especially when compared to the start-up costs of other types of businesses. The initial financial investment is small – hundreds of dollars. This is both a positive and a negative;

  • the positive aspect of this is obvious – no loans and start-up capital are required.
  • the negative side is that it is easy for people to walk-away quickly.

In the quote above, Tim Ferris, the author of “The 4 Hour Work Week” refers to the personality of an entrepreneur, someone who makes things happen.   Tim’s book essentially teaches people how to design their job to increase mobility using focus and technology with the goal of being effective, not efficient.
